About Us
Sparky started out racing at the age of 8 years old back in 1996. He raced at HRKC (Hampton Roads Kart Club) as well as Dixieland and Margarettsville. After winning the stock lite championship in 2003 with HRKC we decided to move to a Saturday night car and bought a Legend car. From 2005 to 2022 we have ran Legends across Virginia and North Carolina winning 2 state titles. Along the way we caught the wintertime itch and bought an Arena car, racing with Arena Racing USA for several seasons. After a GREAT start to 2022 that started with a outside pole and a pole, it quickly came to a bitter end in both races. Moving into 2023 we sold the Legend and moved into LLM (limited late model) 2023 was a learning year for sure as this was the first full size stock car Sparky had raced. We managed to make it through the year without tearing much up and learned a lot. In 2024 we purchased a Hedgecock chassis to try and gain better support and continue to improve weekly performance. 2024 we managed to pull out a few top 5s as we learned the new car. In 2025 we were much better prepared, and it showed weekly. We didn't get the win we were after BUT landed 3 top 5s, 11 top 10s out of 12 races, we only had one DNF with a mechanical part failure. We also partnered with RDS for the last 3 races of the year and are going into 2026 with RDS with a lot of momentum.
